Benchmarks & Accuracy

Our benchmarks are sourced from ATO published schedules, state transport rates, manufacturer specifications, and a growing dataset of observed Australian provider quotes. They are indicative only and will vary over time.

A quote scoring below benchmark does not necessarily mean it is a bad deal. Many legitimate factors affect pricing (your employer arrangement, credit profile, vehicle specification, etc.). Always verify the figures directly with your provider and employer.

Independence

LeaseAudit is fully independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or compensated by any novated lease provider. All provider names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

PDF Extraction Accuracy

We use AI (Google Gemini) to extract text from uploaded PDF quotes. This process is not perfect — fields may be misread, transposed, or missed.

You must always cross-check all extracted data against your original quote document before relying on the audit results. LeaseAudit is not responsible for errors caused by inaccurate PDF extraction.

Tax and FBT Guidance

All tax, FBT, Luxury Car Tax (LCT), and ATO-related guidance reflects the rules as at May 2026. Tax laws and ATO positions change regularly.

You should verify the latest rules on the ATO website or seek advice from a registered tax professional for your specific situation.

No Guarantees

Running an audit or using our negotiation tools does not guarantee that a provider will improve their quote. Outcomes depend on your individual circumstances, employer policy, and the provider's willingness to negotiate.
